Cloud9 Signs CRL Coach and Players

We at Cloud9 are ecstatic to announce our coach signing and the first two player signings for the upcoming inaugural season of the Clash Royale League! Please join us in welcoming the newest members of the Cloud9 family, Coach Erick ERICK Benamu and Legacy Players Collin CMcHugh McHugh and Christopher Trainer Chris Reyes!

Coach ERICK brings with him a wealth of leadership experience on the Clash Royale circuit, having been a two-time Royale Premiere League Championship-Winning coach/captain while also leading Takeover to a #1 Ladder spot in 2016. Over on the players’ side, both CMcHugh and Trainer Chris are Top 2 all time in-game 15K tournaments and both have been two-time Royale Premiere League World Champions. In their most recent event, SXSW Super Magical Cup, both players finished in the Top 4 under Coach ERICK.

“We’re off to a great start in bringing talent to this roster and staff with ERICK, CMcHugh, and Trainer Chris and I’m really looking forward to building on top of this start as we finalize the roster. Glad to welcome them to C9 and I can’t wait to see them in action!”
— Jack Etienne, Cloud9 CEO & Founder

There’s still work to be done, so stay tuned as all teams look to the combine in June to complete their rosters prior to the season kicking off in August! To discuss these changes and to stay updated on everything regarding our Clash Royale team, check out the official Cloud9 Discord.
