Annie, not the lawn!
Players often mis-position themselves while laning. I'll explain how to position yourself while laning. Let's start with auto-attack zones.
This is Annie's auto-attack zone. All character's auto-attack zones are circles.
Hot and cold are both so intense, put em together it just makes sense!
Put her beside ashe. If ashe does 15 DPS and Annie does 10 dps, their combined damage in the overlapping zone would be 25 dps. This is the concept behind focus. Focusing the same target will yield better results than splitting your damage.
X marks the spot!
Position so that your focus is at the tip of your ranges. The constant movement of your character in relation to zones is called spacing. Champions like Ashe/annie can abuse their ranges to space advantageously.
Draw attention away from the ADC by being slightly in front
Supports should typically be ahead of their AD while trading.
Supports run tankier runes/masteries and also buy a Doran's shield to start. Use that tankiness to win trades by drawing their attention. If you can focus their ADC while they focus the support, you will usually win the trade.
It's rumored that this formation summoned Teemo
These are the champion auto-attack zones displayed all at once. Purposefully not included here are spells or minions which further complicate zones. If wanted, I will go super (like, Clark Kent super) deep on this topic including spells, minions, bushes, junglers, and even wards (you know, that thing no one on your team is using) for god's sake. Zones and spacing get very complicated once you consider all parts of the game.
I want to create more in-depth tips with better production values. Stay tuned and if you liked any of this follow me @MeyeaLoL. You'll be able to see my tips as they come out, there x.^
