What is Club9? +

Club9 is your one stop shop for some of the most exclusive rewards in esports. Like in many video games, As you complete Quests, you will unlock new ranks in Club9, which will allow you to claim better rewards. Each season is the length of 1 year. Once the season ends all the rewards are reset, so complete as many Quests as possible before it's too late! Check out Quests and Rewards in the Club9 tab!

What is C9XP? +

C9XP (also referred to as just “XP”) is the token you will be earning through completing Quests in Club9. C9XP is used in many ways, which include claiming rewards, gaining exclusive access to Cloud9, making team wide choices, and more. C9XP can not be bought or sold and is only earned through Quest completion.

How do I earn C9XP? +

C9XP is earned by completing Quests found in your Quest Tab. Quests are activities you do as a fan already (like following our socials or watching our matches), but now you can earn C9XP for doing so.

What do I do with my C9XP? +

C9XP can be redeemed for rewards through Club9. The more C9XP you earn, the higher your rank becomes, which allows you to redeem more exclusive rewards. Certain rewards have limited availability and can not be claimed if already redeemed by other users. Check the "Redeem XP" tab at the top of the page to see the available quantities for each reward. Total XP needed for each rank: 0 XP - Elite 4,000 XP - Master 8,000 XP - Champion Once you earn enough XP and reach a new rank of Club9, you CAN NOT be demoted to a lower rank, even if you claim a reward that puts your total XP below the required amount XP to be in the higher rank.

Can I ship my rewards anywhere? +

We currently only ship physical rewards to addresses located in Canada and the US. Digital rewards can be redeemed from anywhere.

Can I combine reward redemptions into one order? +

Unfortunately you will not be able to combine reward redemptions into one order. All rewards will need to be redeemed individually.

What are Quest Labels? +

Quest labels are abbreviated tags used to quickly identify the game associated with each quest in Club9. These labels help you easily find and participate in quests related to your favorite games. Below is a list of the games and their corresponding labels. What are Challenges? +

Challenges are a group of Quests that when all completed, reward bonus XP. Challenges are typically associated with big events in the Cloud9 world, like majors or Cloud9 hosted tournaments. Be sure to check Club9 regularly for new Challenges.

How often are new Quests added? +

New Quests are added throughout the week, so check back regularly to keep up with the latest Quests.

How are my Quest completions verified in Club9? +

We trust our Club9 members to complete quests accurately, but to maintain a fair and rewarding experience for everyone, we regularly audit quest completions. Certain activities, like "Likes" and "Retweets" on X, are automatically confirmed to help you earn C9XP quickly. However, we do periodically review accounts to ensure that the required actions have been properly completed. If you receive XP for a quest without completing the necessary actions, such as "Liking", "Commenting" or "Retweeting," this is considered a violation of our Terms of Service. Failure to comply may result in a strike against your account, the cancellation of your order, and the deduction of 1,000XP per strike. Please note that we have a 3-strike policy, after which your account may be suspended. To avoid any issues, make sure you fully complete each quest action after clicking "Get XP." If you believe a strike has been applied in error, you can contact us directly for review.

What is your Inventory? +

Your Inventory displays all the C9XP and Crests you have earned through Club9. It also displays all of your current available Quests, as well an activity log showing your completed Quests. Your inventory can be accessed by clicking the round icon at the bottom of all club9.io pages.

What is a Crest? +

A Crest is a digital symbol used to certify your identity and rank in Club9. Think of it as your rank on a competitive leaderboard.

Why are XP and Crests blockchain-based currency? +

We chose blockchain-based technology to underpin our rewards system due to its ability to provide unquestionable transparency for every fan interaction, achievement, and contribution, ensuring complete trust in the system. Blockchain also seamlessly tracks fan activity across multiple platforms, creating a unified and holistic view of each fan's engagement. The robust security measures of blockchain protect XP and Crests from tampering, guaranteeing a fair and reliable rewards system that fosters a sense of community ownership and control, deepening the connection between fans and the platform. This approach ensures that XP and Crests remain a fun and engaging reward system that enhances the overall fan experience. Our system operates on one of the least eco-polluting Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchains, minimizing our carbon footprint. Importantly, XP and Crests are completely free for all fans and cannot be traded or sold, ensuring the focus remains on community engagement and enjoyment.

Is XP cumulative for Tier progression? +

Yes, your XP is cumulative for Tier progression and you won't have to worry about sacrificing spending XP to redeem a reward in order to progress to the next tier.

How can I check my current XP spending balance? +

You can view your current XP spending balance in your inventory.

What is Jack's Office? +

Jack's Office is the highest rank of Club9 members who have special authority to shape according to the community's vision. This includes the ability to create and vote on proposals around all things Cloud9, such as: Club9 Rewards Merchandise Designs Content Creation And more!

How do I join Jack's Office? +

Joining Jack's Office is completely free! All you need to do is apply by filling out our Vibe Check Form, an application found in the Jack's Office Tab. Once your application is approved, you will receive a Jack's Office Crest in your inventory. In deciding who we admit to Jack's Office, we’ll be looking for fans who’ve shown enthusiasm for Cloud9 and our teams. One of the factors we’ll take into consideration is the number of Quests you’ve completed.

What do I do if a video quest does not load? +

If a video quest does not load, try deleting your browser cookies and reloading the page.

My Cloud9 account has my legal name attached, is there any external visibility on my Club9 info? +

Your account first/last name and email will not be shown publicly anywhere. Only your Cloud9 ID they you select will be shown. This is the name that would appear in any video quest chat, stats or callouts, etc.

What happens if I don’t complete any Quests on Club9 for a while? +

To keep our community active and engaged, we will deduct 200 XP from accounts that have not completed a quest in the past 30 days. However, you won’t drop below 1 XP, so you’ll always have the opportunity to get back on track and start earning again. Make sure to stay active and keep grinding those quests to avoid losing XP!

When do Live Video Quests expire? +

Live Video Quests will generally expire 2 hours after the expected stream end time. This is to give you time to claim the XP you have earned from the Quest.
